Deceived?

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…

You are deceived If you say you have never sinned, or don’t sin. There isn’t a man (or woman) that ever walked the face of the earth that didn’t have sin, save the man Jesus Christ Himself. I don’t care who you are or that you say you’ve never sinned. The Bible says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.(Rom 3:23)” And God’s Word (The Bible) is truth! For we were all born of Adam’s seed, who put mankind into sin, and we deceive ourselves if we say we have no sin or have never sinned. But, God (everybody say, “But, God “) in His great mercy saw fit to send His only Son to pay the price for us. He had to because there was no other way we could be made righteous before Him. His righteous judgment would have demanded our death. But, Jesus bought us out of sin, sickness, poverty, depression, bondage and whatever else you might need recovered from with His blood on the cross that great day over 2000 years ago. We must now walk (be renewed by) in the light of His grace and mercy. Receive what Jesus has already done for you and allow His Word to change and conform you into the image of Him.

MY PRAYER…
Loving Father, thank You for making a way for me where there was no way. Thank You for showing me the sin in my life and making a way for my forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. Father, help me by the power of Your Holy Spirit to walk and live a sinless life from this day forward. Change me Lord and renew my mind in You. Help me to know that I have been cleansed with the blood of Jesus and been made righteous before You, through His righteousness. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Seeing God

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
How do you view/see God? Do you see Him as someone looking for a way to condemn you? Do you see Him as an out-of-touch old man who doesn’t really know what it’s like in our modern world? Do you see Him as too holy to soil himself with the concerns of mere mortals and so has left it up to us to work everything out for ourselves? Do you see Him as a wrathful judgmental & punishment wielding God just waiting for you to mess up? I pray that your answers were No, No, NO & NO!
No, God is a loving Father, who is Love in it’s finest form! God chose to enter our world and experience it from the side of mortality. He chose to experience everything that we would, so that He could be our example of how to deal with the circumstances. God chose to enter our world, not to condemn us, or it, but to redeem us and it. Jesus is the great reminder that it is God’s desire that we all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in Him. God doesn’t have to judge us, we were judged already in Jesus. Thank God for God! Thank God for Jesus who was and is God with us, the Word made flesh. Thank God that Jesus (God made flesh) came and paid the price for ALL of humanity’s sin once for ALL!

MY PRAYER…
Holy and Heavenly Father, thank You that You live with those who are contrite and repentant and who long for Your presence. You know we are only mortal, but You love us. You know that we are flawed, but You redeemed us through Jesus. You know that we are not perfect, but You sent Jesus as the perfect sacrifice to not only save us, but to provide for all that we would ever require. Thank You that Jesus bore not only my sins, but my sickness, my disease, my poverty, my bondage, my fear, and all else that was not of You. I thank You that I have been made the righteousness of God, not because of me, but through Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Through my Lord and Savior I offer my sincerest gratitude and praise and I offer myself a living sacrifice unto You.

In God’s Image

Here is something to ponder and meditate on.
This is a very interesting analogy of the refining fire of God and I thought it worthy of passing along.

“The SILVERSMITH”
Author Unknown

Malachi 3:3 says: “He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.” He being of course God Himself.

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work and talk with him about the process. She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest so as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: “He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.” She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, “How do you know when the silver is fully refined?”

He smiled at her and answered, “Oh, that’s easy — when I see my image reflected in it.”

Does God see His image in you?

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image reflected in you. When His image is reflected in you then you are a true Christian, one of His very own children.

God Created You

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Why did God create Mankind? Some people get the idea that God made man so He’d have someone to dominate and control, some one to beat up on. But God is not a dominator. In fact if you will read Genesis 1:26 you find that God made man to be the dominator. No, God is LOVE and love needs to give to someone. That’s why God made man. He made man (mankind male and female) so He could give His love to them. He made man something really special. God made us in the very image and likeness of Himself. He made us to have fellowship with Himself, for God loves our fellowship more than anything else.
God could have given His love to the angels, and He did that too. But giving to angels didn’t provide Him with total fulfillment. Why? Because the angels aren’t made in His image and likeness, but we are! Angels were created beings to serve a purpose, we were created to be sons and daughters of the ‘Most High God’. Enjoy that fact and fellowship with the Father God, The Son Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit!

MY PRAYER…
Abba Father, I will never understand how You could love me so much that You would create me in Your image. Or why You would chose to fellowship with me over the angels of heaven. But one thing I do know, and that is You love me beyond compare. Please help me to love others as You have loved me. Help me Lord to be what You would have me to be. In Jesus name, I pray.

Angels of God

The angels of God have been sent to you also!

Daniel was in great distress and being held by the king and had been drained of all his strength and was short of breath even. But, because he had set his heart on God and humbled himself to the point of asking God for help, God sent His angel to strengthen him. Not only did God send an angel, He sent Michael, the greatest Archangel, one of the greatest of all the angels. Do you need God’s angels at work for you? All we have to do is Believe and ask, then command them – no other proof needed!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, thank You for giving your angels charge over me. Thank you Lord for instructing them to harken unto your spoken Word and to be ministers (servants) un to those of us who are heirs to your Kingdom through our faith and believe in ?Jesus, Your Son. Thanks Abba Daddy for giving me that which I was not worthy to receive. That which I could in no way earn You lovingly gave to me as a free gift, if only I would receive it. Father, I exercise my faith and I accept that which I was not worthy to have, but that which You have freely given. Thank You Lord for sending me Jesus to show me the way, the only way! In Jesus’ name I pray.

Stand Up and Be Counted

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
We are commanded, not asked, to pray for our country and our leaders. Whether we approve of the leaders or not! But having prayed, God expects us to act, to take a stand. Stand Up and Be Counted! Obviously many Christians did NOT listen to God and and take a stand during the 2008, and 2012 elections here in the U.S.! If they had we wouldn’t be where we are now. And we wouldn’t have a so-called ‘Affordable Care Act’ that is causing people to lose their insurance policies or like in my case for the cost of that insurance to go up almost $200 a month – yes I said a month! We wouldn’t be on the verge of socialism or have had a muslim president who kept doing treasonous acts and getting a way with them either! Putting this country is such low world esteem. Thank God we (Christians) wised up and prayed for the 2016 election and God heard our prayers and answered them from heaven. We Had a non muslim, God loving president again for 4 years. Then we stood by and let the socialist demorats steal, yes I said “STEAL” a federal election right in front of our eyes and did nothing to stop it!! Now we have a communist socialist president who is a puppet of the DNC, and China and he is wrecking America. It will take years to fix the damage already done by this president and his liberal no-goods, and even longer while these liberals attack the Christians in America. You who attack God’s children beware, your day will come!
The homosexuals and the lesbians and ALL the other immoral ones have taken a stand and are making people listen to them. It’s time for the Christians of this country to stand up and be counted as Christians – if they really are Christian! There can’t be any such thing as gays for Jesus either, that’s NOT scriptural and there’s nothing gay about homosexuality, it is an evil spirit straight from the pit of Hell. You can’t be both gay and Christian…it’s against God’s Word, I don’t care what you say, Read Romans chapter 1. I didn’t say that, the Word of God did. God loves all people, but He hates sin – homosexuality is sin period! Remember what He did to Sodom and Gomorrah! Get involved in what is happening around us and in our leadership. Yes we are to pray, but we need to also be active, proactive and take a stand and be heard! Our country is in the midst of a spiritual battle, and it’s vitally important that the right people be our leaders. There is such a great rise in immorality and un-Godly things among the people and the devil is raising his head big-time. We are about to see another Sodom & Gomorrah right here in America unless we can turn it around soon. God will have to judge us if don’t judge ourselves and this country doesn’t change. We must see to it that the right people become our country’s leaders. How? Take a stand! Pray for your leaders, both present and future. I didn’t say you had to agree with or like them – just that you have to pray for them according to the Word of God. We have to a Godly man back in office as soon as possible.
Thank the Spirit of God for His wisdom concerning your thinking and your stand. Thank Him for giving you His wisdom about what to say and when to say it to others. Thank Him for giving you wisdom to declare the Name of Jesus and declare that this shall be a God indwelt, God-ordained, God-overseen nation ruled by Godly men and women. Stand up and be counted as part of the power of the living God.

MY PRAYER…
Father I thank You for You leadership and Your guidance. Lord, I thank You for hearing our prayers and for providing the necessary wisdom, knowledge, and strength to our country’s leaders at this time. Father, prepare our leaders for the task now ahead of them. For the rebuilding and the strengthening of this country and its people. Lord, I thank You that You are work in the hearts of men even now, causing them to want to and giving them the strength to do Your will. Father, let Your Kingdom come, Your will be done here on earth Lord, just as it is already done in Heaven. Lead and guide our country’s leaders in all they do and say. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.

Who Do You Follow?

It is the Lord your God you must follow, and Him you must revere. Keep His commands and obey Him; serve Him and hold fast to Him.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Do you follow the Lord Jesus Christ, or some religious denomination or worse a cult and demons masquerading as a church? So many church denominations in the world want us to follow their lead and obey their voice, to worship and have church their way, to follow their doctrines. But Paul said it best, ” Is Christ divided? ” Jesus did Not have denominations, sects or cults, but there were such things around even in Jesus’ day. The disciples/early church served Jesus and Him only! Jesus served and represents God the Father to us as Christians. Therefore it should be God’s Word, His doctrine we follow and NOT the doctrine of men, some cult, or of demons. There are cults still out there today calling themselves churches and calling themselves Christian and they haven’t a clue what Christian is or they just are deceiving people on purpose! God has proved Himself faithful and loving through the ages. In His might He is to be revered. But rather than seeing reverence as a “denominational church thing,” i.e. Baptist or Protestant, or Catholic, or whatever, we are reminded that it is a “life thing.” Christian is being “Christ-Like” in everything we say and do! We are to obey and keep His commandments, and we are to serve Him and depend upon Him in our daily lives. Reverence is not necessarily silence in the assembly, reverence is action to the leading of His Holy Spirit and to His glory in all that we do and say! Reverence is obeying His commandments and His Word, not some denominational decree or doctrine, or so-called church history as the Catholics say, unless it is totally in agreement to God’s Word. A seminary is really a cemetery if it is teaching incorrect Bible doctrine, that is it’s doctrine will bring death instead of life! Most seminaries today are just that. Cemeteries that bring about death and destruction of God’s Word. I sure wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of any of those teachers come judgment day! Reverence is having a Christ-like walk in our day to day life. Reverence is calling on Him in a time of need and not some priest or the Pope. God is our source period! Reverence is spending quality time with our Holy Father, and with Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit in the secret place. Don’t forget to invite the Holy Spirit also! Whatever the Father and His Word says, that I will do. Not the doctrines of men.

MY PRAYER…
Holy and Righteous Father, help me take my worship outside the church building through my body, the temple of the living God, and into my day to day life as I live what I sing, practice what I say, and pursue what I pray. Lord help me to be a doer of Your word and not just a hearer. Lord, help me to show the world around me reverence unto You, My Father in my daily life and all that I do and say.

Sifted Out

A wise king sifts out the wicked, And brings the threshing wheel over them.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you one whom a wise King will sift out and remove? Will you be sifted out?
Now apply this to God’s teaching concerning all authority. This includes God’s Word about tithing and offerings too! Ouch! If you are not subject to the authority it says that a wise king (those in authority) will sift out the wicked (will remove those who do not place themselves subject to the God given authority.) and run the threshing wheel over them, in other words he will crush them. And these authorities, in the real world, have God’s Word backing them to do it! But also, God will do the same in His Kingdom. For those of you too young or from the city, a threshing wheel was/is a very large heavy device used to separate the grain from the chaff. You say, but what if those in authority are the wicked ones? God will sift them out in His own time, won’t He. Remember king Saul. Did not God eventually remove him? Are you weed seed or good seed,,,, what do your words plant?

MY PRAYER…
Father God, I thank You that I am free in You and that You have and are giving me wisdom and revelation knowledge of Your Word. I thank You that You are quickening in my heart the meaning of Your Holy Word and how it applies in everyday life. Lord help me to understand who those are that You have given authority over me so that I may walk accordingly. Lord help us to know how to pray for those in authority so that your will be done through them. In Jesus’ name I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…

Notice what the Bible says about someone who hears the Word but doesn’t do it, they deceive themselves. Are You one of those who are deceived? The devil loves this, because he can cause you to deceive yourself. When this happens you forget what kind of a person you are. These people set in service on Sunday morning and listen to the sermon and give their amen and hallelujahs because it all sounds so good. Then when they leave and go about their weekly routine it is as if they never heard a Word on Sunday. They return to the everyday world and do what everybody else in the world is doing the rest of the week, instead of what the Word says. I didn’t say that, the Word of God did. But, I know some people who are like that! I see it happening all around me and through out the church today. Its obvious they don’t have a daily relationship with Jesus or with His Word by their lifestyles. They allow the devil to use themselves to deceive themselves! Don’t show up on Sunday morning and punch your time card thinking you have free fire insurance now and then live like the world (the unsaved) does the rest of the week. It makes you hypocrites and actors one and all. Make it a point to do the Word all the time (24/7) don’t just listen to it and let it pass in one ear and out the other like there was nothing in-between. Let it re-new your mind.

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, help us Lord to not allow Your Word to fall on deaf ears, but Lord give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to understand with. Lord, help us to plant Your Word so deep in our hearts that we walk it out without even thinking about it. Lord, help us to not deceive ourselves and go the way of the world. In Jesus’ name I pray.

God predestined you before the foundations of the world!

You (we) were chosen and predestined. You didn’t happen because some slime formed on a pond somewhere billions of years ago and then crawled out onto the land, became an ape, and then a man. That is pure garbage from the pit of Hell itself! And anyone who teaches that or believes that is deceived by the devil himself! Man did NOT come from some other creature! No, God has a plan and a purpose for your lives and He predestined you before the foundations of the world! He made us in His image and His likeness, not an ape’s image. We have a calling on our lives people, each and everyone of us has a perfect plan that God has predestined for our lives. Pray and fast and seek God and find out what God’s perfect plan for your life is!
