Deceived?

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you deceived and don’t even know it?

You are deceived If you say you have never sinned, or don’t sin. There isn’t a man (or woman) that ever walked the face of the earth that didn’t have sin, save the man Jesus Christ Himself. I don’t care who you are or that you say you’ve never sinned. The Bible says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.(Rom 3:23)” And God’s Word (The Bible) is truth! For we were all born of Adam’s seed, who put mankind into sin, and we deceive ourselves if we say we have no sin or have never sinned. But, God (everybody say, “But, God “) in His great mercy saw fit to send His only Son to pay the price for us. He had to because there was no other way we could be made righteous before Him. His righteous judgment would have demanded our death. But, Jesus bought us out of sin, sickness, poverty, depression, bondage and whatever else you might need recovered from with His blood on the cross that great day over 2000 years ago. We must now walk (be renewed by) in the light of His grace and mercy. Receive what Jesus has already done for you and allow His Word to change and conform you into the image of Him.

MY PRAYER…
Loving Father, thank You for making a way for me where there was no way. Thank You for showing me the sin in my life and making a way for my forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. Father, help me by the power of Your Holy Spirit to walk and live a sinless life from this day forward. Change me Lord and renew my mind in You. Help me to know that I have been cleansed with the blood of Jesus and been made righteous before You, through His righteousness. In Jesus’ name I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Who Do You Follow?
Do you follow the Lord Jesus Christ, or some religious denomination or worse yet a cult and demons masquerading as a church? So many church denominations in the world want us to follow their lead and obey their voice, to worship and have church their way, to follow their doctrines. Just because they have been around for ages and have a central leader does not mean they are a church of Jesus. But Paul said it best, ” Is Christ divided? ” Jesus did Not have denominations, sects or cults, but there were such things around even in Jesus’ day. The disciples/early church served Jesus and Him only! Jesus served and represents God the Father to us as Christians. Therefore it should be God’s Word, His doctrine we follow and NOT the doctrine of men, some cult, or of demons. There are cults still out there today calling themselves churches and calling themselves Christian and they haven’t a clue what a Christian is or they just are deceiving people on purpose! God has proved Himself faithful and loving through the ages. In His might He is to be revered. But rather than seeing reverence as a “denominational church thing,” i.e. Baptist or Protestant, Methodist or Catholic, or whatever, we are reminded that it is a “life thing.” Christian is being “Christ-Like” in everything we say and do! We are to obey and keep His commandments, and we are to serve Him and depend upon Him in our daily lives. Church history and church customs mean nothing to Jesus. Reverence is not necessarily silence in the assembly, reverence is action to the leading of His Holy Spirit and to His glory in all that we do and say! Reverence is obeying His commandments and His Word, not some denominational decree or doctrine, or so-called church history as the Catholics say, unless it is totally in agreement to God’s Word. A seminary is really a cemetery if it is teaching incorrect Bible doctrine, that is it’s doctrine will bring death instead of life! Most seminaries today are just that. Cemeteries that bring about death and destruction of God’s Word. They teach dead religion and church history/doctrine NOT God’s Word and live through Jesus. I sure wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of any of those teachers come judgment day! Reverence is having a Christ-like walk in our day to day life. Reverence is calling on Him in a time of need and not some priest or the Pope. God is our source period! Reverence is spending quality time with our Holy Father, and with Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit in the secret place. Don’t forget to invite the Holy Spirit also! Whatever the Father and His Word says, that I will do. Not the doctrines of men.

MY PRAYER…
Holy and Righteous Father, help me take my worship outside the church building through my body, the temple of the living God, and into my day to day life as I live what I sing, practice what I say, and pursue what I pray. Lord help me to be a doer of Your word and not just a hearer. Lord, help me to show the world around me reverence unto You, My Father in my daily life and all that I do and say.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…

Notice what the Bible says about someone who hears the Word but doesn’t do it, they deceive themselves. Are You one of those who are deceived? The devil loves this, because he can cause you to deceive yourself. When this happens you forget what kind of a person you are. These people set in service on Sunday morning and listen to the sermon and give their amen and hallelujahs because it all sounds so good. Then when they leave and go about their weekly routine it is as if they never heard a Word on Sunday. They return to the everyday world and do what everybody else in the world is doing the rest of the week, instead of what the Word says. I didn’t say that, the Word of God did. But, I know some people who are like that! I see it happening all around me and through out the church today. Its obvious they don’t have a daily relationship with Jesus or with His Word by their lifestyles. They allow the devil to use themselves to deceive themselves! Don’t show up on Sunday morning and punch your time card thinking you have free fire insurance now and then live like the world (the unsaved) does the rest of the week. It makes you hypocrites and actors one and all. Make it a point to do the Word all the time (24/7) don’t just listen to it and let it pass in one ear and out the other like there was nothing in-between. Let it re-new your mind.

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, help us Lord to not allow Your Word to fall on deaf ears, but Lord give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to understand with. Lord, help us to plant Your Word so deep in our hearts that we walk it out without even thinking about it. Lord, help us to not deceive ourselves and go the way of the world. In Jesus’ name I pray.

God predestined you before the foundations of the world!

You (we) were chosen and predestined. You didn’t happen because some slime formed on a pond somewhere billions of years ago and then crawled out onto the land, became an ape, and then a man. That is pure garbage from the pit of Hell itself! And anyone who teaches that or believes that is deceived by the devil himself! Man did NOT come from some other creature! No, God has a plan and a purpose for your lives and He predestined you before the foundations of the world! He made us in His image and His likeness, not an ape’s image. We have a calling on our lives people, each and everyone of us has a perfect plan that God has predestined for our lives. Pray and fast and seek God and find out what God’s perfect plan for your life is!

Precious Father, thank You for making it soooooooooooooooo easy for me! So easy that You planned the very days of my life before I was. Father, thank You for providing for my righteousness through Your Son and my Lord Jesus. Thanks Abba Daddy for loving me so much that You laid out my life for me in advance. Father, I exercise my faith and I accept that which I was not worthy to have, but that which You have freely given me. I accept the plan and purpose that You have for me, help me Lord to understand that plan and purpose for my life. Thank You Lord for sending me Jesus to show me the way, the only way! THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God has told us to put Him in remembrance of His Word!

God wants to hear our prayers, He’s a loving Father and wants to bless His children just as any earthly father would and even more so. But we must present our requests unto Him in prayer. Prayer is nothing more than talking to God! His word says to put Him in remembrance of His Word ( Isa 43:26,
Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together;
State your case, that you may be acquitted.)
We need to base our prayers on what His Word already says about the situation, what ever that situation is. We need to be careful not to turn our prayers into a pleading, begging, request line of what we want God to do for us. But rather into a thanks giving and praise time for what He HAS ALREADY DONE for us according to His Word. And in all things, always giving praise and thanks unto Him.

MY PRAYER…
Gracious Father, I have so many reasons to praise You. In the face of trials and hardship in this world I have Your promises to rely on. Your promises that are always Yes and Amen, promises You will never break. In that moment of victory I have You to thank for my abilities, for I of myself can do nothing. But through Jesus, who lives in my heart, all things are possible, if only I will believe. Thank you, Father God, for being so great and yet so loving, for giving me the peace that passes all known understanding when I put my trust in You. In Jesus’ name, I give You all praise, and glory, and honor forever.

Wisdom And Revelation

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Who do you go to for your wisdom and revelation God or the world?

Not in OUR power, Not by OUR might, but by HIS Spirit and His power saith the Lord! Notice that Paul is praying and asking for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. He is also asking that your spiritual eyes be opened or enlightened so that you can know what God’s plan is for your life. God already knows and has known since before the foundations of the world, we just need to find out so that we can pursue it and walk it out. We need to be right in the middle of God’s perfect will for our lives. For then and only then will His blessings overtake us. Do you want God’s perfect will in your life? Pray this prayer over yourself and your family daily and then listen as God speaks to you. Remember God may use someone else to speak to you, just be sure you know that it is from God. Listen by your spirit.

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, I know that I was not worthy for You to justify and to plan my life for me. But because You loved us so much You made a plan for my life, You set the days of my life in Your books. Lord now I ask that those plans be revealed unto me. That I might see Your perfect pathway for my life. Lord I know that on my own I can not find it or have the strength to walk in it if I do find it. So please strengthen me by Your Holy Spirit. I pray Father, that everyone reading this will get a revelation of Jesus Christ and Him crucified for them. That Your plan for their lives will be revealed unto them and that they will pick up their cross and find Your perfect pathway for them. In Jesus name.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17 KJV (1st phase of salvation)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Now let me define Salvation for you.
According to the Hebrew word translated as salvation in the Old Testament:
3444. yeshuw’ah, yesh-oo’-aw; fem. pass. part. of H3467; something saved, i.e. (abstr.) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity:–deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

According to the Greek word translated as salvation in the New Testament:
4991. soteria, so-tay-ree’-ah; fem. of a der. of G4990 as (prop. abstr.) noun; rescue or safety (phys. or mor.):–deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.

I want you to notice that salvation is more than just going to heaven when you die. Salvation is an all inclusive gift box of things Jesus has already done for us and given to us for our use and enjoyment here on earth also.

Notice we have: deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity, health, help, saving health, welfare. Is there anything missing that we could want? Why are you just taking the one thing about going to heaven? Grab and enjoy ALL of God’s promised Salvation right here, right now, while you are alive and living on earth!!

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA…
Have you had your spiritual blessings today? God is ready, willing, and able to bless you beyond compare. (Psa 68:19 KJV) Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Did you get that? Daily God loads us with His benefits. Are you receiving them? I am!

Father I thank You that You are a God of more than enough. In fact You are just waiting for a chance to load me with blessings. All I have to do is ask and then be ready to receive them. Thank You Lord for being such an awesome God and Father. In Jesus Name, I thank You.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Stand and praise God!
Can you stand and praise God anywhere? You stand and shout and cheer and carry on wildly at sports events and rock concerts, but what about praising God?
What better way to express our joy than with laughter and song to God. We sing to the Lord because we are joyful and thankful for all He has done for us! Not what is going on in our lives and in the world around us. Our music is not inhibited or held back, but exuberant and as full of heart as it is of sound. We praise Him with our whole being, with all that we are. Just like David danced in the streets before the Lord. You can do it at sports events and concerts and no one cares, try being that exuberant when you praise God and see what happens. Thanksgiving and praise to Him is what brings us into the Father’s presence and it is our joy at the knowledge of what He has done for us that leads us to praise Him. Don’t hide that praise from the world, display it proudly! Even if we are not musically inclined it’s okay. He said in His Word we could make a joyful noise unto the Lord. It’s our hearts that matter, not what we sound like. Remember He said, He would inhabit the praises of His people.

MY PRAYER…
Most wonderful and glorious Father, thank you so much for sending Your Son and saving me from sin, death, and the law. Thank you for saving me and giving me the assurance, through your Holy Spirit, that I can come before you with exuberant and overflowing joy. Your love and grace have not only given me hope but have made me your child, a son and an heir. Hear my heart and be blessed by my sounds of praise. Through the mighty name of Jesus I pray and because of Jesus I will shout your praise forever and ever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
“Watch where you’re supposed to be going!”

It usually happens when we are looking somewhere besides where we should be looking. We will invariably walk or drive in the direction we are looking instead of where we should be going. Because we have been distracted! But the same thing is true of the way we live. We “live like where we look, where we see, and where we listen.” Wherever we are spending the most of our time that’s the way we will live also. If we spend our time with the world, with worldly people, in front of the “Boob Tube” (ever wonder why they nicknamed the TV that?) or other worldly media, then that’s the way we are going to live. If you spend your day watching soap operas then your life will be a soap opera lived out! Because what you feed on (sow) is what you will reap, because what you feed on the most is what gets into your heart. That’s why it’s important to fix our eyes and ears on Jesus! Forget or at least put aside this world and fix ourselves on Jesus, spend time with Him and His Word. Who He is, what He has done for us, and where He is taking us. When you understand that principle, it will change the course of your life.

Wonder Bread once had a slogan that said: “You are what you eat, from your head down to your feet!”
What are you feeding on the most, the world or the things of God? Don’t say: “Oh, it’s just a movie , it won’t hurt anything!” Wanna bet! Been there, done that! Wore the ‘Tee’ Shirt! It’s something sowed. Feed your kids Harry Potter stuff and they’ll turn out “New Age” , Wiccan or even worse. Feed them just Wonder Bread and not fruits and vegetables and they’ll be fat and diabetic! We must feed our spirit the things of God daily!

MY PRAYER…
Almighty and holy God, without Your grace and the gift of Your salvation, through Jesus, I could not approach You with confidence. Thank You for sending Jesus! Thank You for His life, His death, His burial, His resurrection, His exaltation and His intercession at Your right hand for me. I pledge this day to keep my eyes on Him! I pledge to live by Faith in Him and who He is. The report of a stranger I will not believe. In Jesus’ name I pray.
