Are you a slacker?

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
The lord has promised that all who call (from their heart, truly mean it, not just with lip service) on His name will be saved. Because He has already saved them through the Cross. He is waiting patiently for each and every man, woman, and child to call on Him. He hasn’t picked and chosen amongst us just certain ones, as certain sects and men believe. He wants us ALL, the choice is ours. He is waiting to complete His spotless church. He has already provided for our (every man, woman, and child on the face of the earth) salvation, redemption, healing, prosperity, deliverance, and all things that pertain to life and Godliness that are part of that salvation. He’s just waiting for us to call on Him and claim what He has already given us. He is waiting for us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that He can add all those other things unto us. Won’t you do that today? Won’t you extend your faith in Him. Draw near to Him and He said He would draw near to us.

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, Great and Patient Ancient One, please continue to empower me with the boldness of Your Holy Spirit that I might lead my loved ones and dear friends to repentance in You. That I may walk in the light of Glory and that You will be shone forth in all that I say and do. So that when Jesus returns for His special people, His spotless church, they may share in the joy and eternal life that Jesus has bought for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. In Jesus name I pray Father.

Are you hearing the Word of God?

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Notice God’s Word didn’t say by having heard once or even twice or three times, but by hearing, and hearing what is preached about Jesus. What is it we are supposed to hear? The six o’clock news, the New York Times, the Kitsap Sun, the Seattle Times newspaper, Spike TV, M-TV, HBO Cable Network, CNN News, ESPN news, your neighbor next door, the guy down at the gas station, or some other news broadcasting station? No, we are supposed to be hearing and hearing by the WORD of GOD concerning Jesus Christ and Him crucified for us. We should be meditating on His Word day and night. We need to choose very carefully what we listen to, what we watch, and whatever else is feeding our natural senses, because our spirit man, the real us, is fed through the eye gate, the mouth gate, and the ear gate. Whatever we’re seeing, speaking, and hearing the most is what is going to get into our hearts (our spirit man). God said out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. In Proverbs it says: Keep (Guard) your heart with all diligence, for out of it [spring] the issues of life. We need to put on a spiritual filter and make sure that what we are hearing and seeing lines up with the Word of God, so that what we are speaking is also from God. Because if it doesn’t line up with God’s Word it will have the opposite effect of building faith…it will destroy Faith and cause unbelief, doubt, and fear. Remember, whatever is NOT of faith is sin.

MY PRAYER…
Precious and gracious Father, I ask You according to Your Word ((James 1:5 KJV) ” If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”) to give unto Your servants and your saints the wisdom and revelation knowledge of Your Word. Father, for everyone who reads this, place an urgency in their hearts, an unquenchable desire to read, study, and meditate on Your Word. That their faith may abound. That they may know the truth set forth in Your Word and that the truth will make them free. Father, I ask that you would reveal unto us the deceitfulness and the ploys that the enemy uses to destroy our faith. Father, reveal unto us how we, Your church, have been polluting our faith and compromising ourselves with the things of this world. Help us Father, to be strong again and to stand firm in our faith in Your Word and it’s standards. Father, I ask this in Jesus’ name.

Is your faith as strong as Abraham’s?

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Talk about faith! When God asked Abraham to give his only son as a sacrifice, the one in whom he had been told He would use to make Abraham the father of many nations, Abraham didn’t hesitate. He believed in faith that God was able to raise him back up from the dead if need be. Abraham’s faith and obedience was all God wanted, so God provided Abraham with a ram to complete the sacrifice and stayed his hand from harming Isaac. But it was Abraham’s undoubting faith and obedience that moved God. It also opened the door for God Himself to then offer His only Son (Jesus) as a sacrifice for ALL mankind. Abraham’s faith made a way for God to use His only Son as a sacrifice for us, for all of humanity. Are you full of that kind of faith and would you be as obedient as Abraham was?

MY PRAYER…
Father God, thank You for not asking us to do that which we cannot in our own strength do, but for only asking that we have faith in You. You didn’t ask Abraham to do anything that You weren’t willing to do Yourself. Thank You, that You did in fact give Your only Son that I (and the rest of the world) might be saved. That through His blood and our faith in Him we might have life and life more abundantly. In Jesus’ name, Father, I pray.

Do you have access to the Grace of God?

Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Our access to the Grace of God is by our faith in Jesus. Nothing else we do can provide us with access to that grace. Not our works, not our church attendance, not our denominational beliefs, not what our parents have done for us or tell us. Not some other god, spirit, or idol, not some priest in confessional box, only the one and only Jesus, the Son of God and God Himself. The only way we have access to the grace of God is through Jesus Christ and our ‘personal’ faith in Him coupled with our ‘personal’ day to day relationship with Him. Do what you may, do what you will, say what you may, say what you will but if you don’t have faith in God through a ‘personal’ day to day relationship with Jesus Christ, if you haven’t made Jesus ‘The Lord’ of your life, you’ll not enter into God’s Grace and His rest. Nor will you have eternal life and everything else that comes with salvation. Do not believe those who tell you, “We all are going to the same place. There are just many ways of getting there.” This is a lie strait from the pit of hell and the devil himself. This is NOT true, there is NO other way! Those who try to convince you otherwise are deceived of and being used by the devil.

MY PRAYER…
Most Holy Father, thank You for Your Grace and Your mercy through Your Son Jesus. No other way is open to You except through Him. You made it so in Your Word. Spoken by the very mouth of Your own Son Jesus, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6) I thank You Father for giving me the way, the truth, and the Life through Jesus Christ. For I, who was once dead in sin, have been made alive through Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. I give Him all the glory and honor, that in Him I may also glorify You. In Jesus’ Name, Father, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Being justified by faith in Jesus Christ and faith in His name gives us peace with God. The only way we can be reconciled to God is through Jesus Christ and our faith in Him. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY! Don’t let any one deceive or fool you into thinking there is some other way. Can’t happen! The Bible says Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, NO one comes unto the Father except through Him. The Bible says that if we try to justify (make ourselves in right standing with God) ourselves through works of the law we make the sacrifice of Jesus to no avail! Nothing we can do of ourselves can bring about our reconciliation with God and our justification (being made righteous before God), except believing in Jesus Christ and Him crucified for us. Not some other god, idol, or spirit, or even some other man can reconcile us to God, ONLY Jesus. No Indian ‘great white spirit’, no Buddha, no Allah, nothing except the Son of God, Jesus. We must come to God His way, the only way, through Jesus Christ, the Son of God and faith in Him. Jesus Himself told us, “I am the way, the truth, and THE LIFE: no man comes unto the Father except by me.”(John 14:6) Is God’s Word truth or not? There is ONLY ONE WAY to God period!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, thank You for Your Son. Thank You for sending Him to make peace between You and me, for allowing Him to reconcile us into eternal friendship. Thank You for bestowing son ship upon us who believe in Your Son Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Abba, Daddy, Thank You for your loving mercy and grace upon us. Thank You for sending us Your Holy Spirit to be our Comforter and our Helper. Thank You Father, for the power and the strength to live my life for You. That nothing this world has or can throw my way is bigger or stronger than He who lives inside of me, if I will only believe and have faith in Him. In Jesus’ name, Father, I pray and glorify You.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
If value is determined by price, then we are incredibly valuable to God. God took the most precious, priceless treasure of heaven and sent Him to be the price to buy us out of sin and death and adopt us into His family. Silver and gold pale in comparison to that value. He sent His Word, manifest in the flesh, His only begotten Son, to be the firstborn from the dead. Born of a virgin by the seed of God, a flesh and blood man like us, filled with the Holy Spirit of God at His baptism in the Jordan, the only sinless man to ever walk the face of the earth. He sent Him, Jesus, to buy us back with His Life. We were redeemed, bought back by His Blood. Blood sacrificed on the Holy Altar of God, that we might become the righteousness of God in and through Him, Jesus. Receive it, it’s yours, He gave it to you. Only by Faith can you do so, you can NOT earn it!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, may I live today and everyday to become fully aware of the awesome price You paid for my life. May my words, thoughts and actions be permeated with a sense of worth and Holiness that comes from my fellowship with You through Jesus. Not so that I may seem important, but so that I may live in Your Holiness and bring honor to Your precious gift to me. Through Him that loves me, my Lord Jesus, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Many of the struggles in our lives are not mere accidents! They are put there to stumble us and make us fall by the enemy. But, understand this clearly, none (not one of them) are put there by God. God didn’t put you in a wheelchair so He could use you to teach others about Him form a wheelchair! No, what God would do would be to heal & restore you & take you out of that wheelchair and then have you tell people what He did for you!! Our challenges and struggles most often come from ourselves or from the hand of our enemy, Satan. He always prowls around looking for the best scheme to knock us out of our commitment to, and our relationship with, the Lord. Then he will use your own mind or a friend or a relative or even a complete stranger to cause his scheme to be put into motion. Placing ourselves firmly in the hands of the Lord and using His tools of warfare will help us keep our enemy, who has already been humiliated and defeated by Jesus and the cross, where he belongs. Under our feet! Trust in the Lord and all His might.

MY PRAYER…
Strengthen me, O God, that I may stand against my foe and triumph by the power of Your Holy Spirit and bring honor and glory to my conquering Savior. You will return one day and take me home in victory. Father reveal Yourself to me through Your Word, Your power and Your strength that are mine to use to keep the enemy down until he is finally cast into the everlasting lake of fire. In the name of Jesus, Your Holy Son, I pray Lord.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Here is part of the secret of The Secret Place of God. God tells us (Not me, not your Pastor, not some televangelist) in His Word that we are to meditate on His Word day and night. That we are to keep it in front of our eyes always. And then He tells us why. If only we would understand what He is trying to get across to us here! Read that last line, Proverbs 4:22, very carefully, then read it again and let those words sink into not just your mind, but your heart, your very being, your spirit man. “For they (the Words of God) are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Are you in need of physical healing from one thing or another? The Word of God is LIFE and it is HEALTH to those that find it. You can’t find it if your Bible lays on the shelf all week while you are watching worldly sitcoms or movies about demons and witchcraft (Harry Potter and the likes). You can’t get healed if you’re spending all your time watching SOAP Operas on TV or Sci-Fi movies or death and destruction shows. What ever you are feeding on is what will be in your heart! You can’t get healed if you don’t meditate the Word of God and allow it to penetrate your very soul and being. You can’t get healed if you don’t spend time with The Healer (Jesus). All the time, NOT just when you need a bail out healing from God. The Word must so impregnate your spirit man that those words cause a manifestation of healing from the spirit realm into the natural realm of you being, your flesh man.

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, give unto us the wisdom and revelation into the meaning of what you have said here in Your Word. Help us, Father, to understand that You are giving us a key to divine healing, divine health, and long life. Father, place that revelation so deep into our spirits that we will never forget it. As we read and meditate Your Word, Father, increase our capacity to understand what You are saying to us, that we may make it life and health to all our flesh. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Notice that God, my God, is THE MOST HIGH GOD! That means there isn’t no other circumstance, sickness, disease, thing, or god that is bigger or more powerful than my God! He is THE MOST HIGH GOD!!!
Do you dwell (live and abide) in the Secret Place of “El Elyown”, the Most High God? Do you dwell (live and abide) under the shadow of “El Shaddai”, The Almighty God or are you living in the shadow of the circumstances that are of the world around you? No matter how we are attacked or persecuted if we are in that secret place of the Most High God no evil can befall us, no foe can touch us. Look closely at this verse. My God is the Most High God, there isn’t anybody, no other God that’s as High as He is! He’s the Almighty, the most powerful, The All in All. He’s anything and everything you could possibly want or need! But you must abide in Him, you must walk and live in His shadow if you expect to receive from Him. I have found the secret of the “Secret Place”!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father God, thank You for being my Fortress and my Refuge in life’s storms. Thank You Lord that You have covered me over and have delivered me from all evil. Lord thank You that I can abide in that secret place with You at all times and that You are my comfort and my strength when I am weak. Thank You Lord for placing Your angels with charge over me to keep me in all my ways. Lord, thank You that when I set my love upon You, You deliver me from life’s trials and that You know my name! That You have called me by Your name. Through Jesus, my Lord and Savior, I offer my thanks and praise forever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you born again, born anew of God’s Spirit? Have you made Jesus the Lord of your life, it’s the only way to be born of God. Jesus must be Lord of your life before He can be Savior of your soul! If you are and you know it, then you have already overcome the world! Nothing in this world (the natural) should sway you from the things of God. But, how do we get that victory? It’s already ours, He said so in His Word and His Word is truth. First and foremost, by the blood of Jesus, but we get it through our faith in Him and His Word and then living out that faith by letting Jesus be our Lord and guide in what we do, say, and think! I didn’t say it would be easy, I only said we have the victory. Do you believe you have the victory? If you do then you have it. His Word says we win.

MY PRAYER…
Father, I pray that You would reveal unto each and every one of Your truly born again children through the eyes of their understanding that ‘victory’ which Your Son HAS ALREADY provided for us through His Death, Burial, and Resurrection. That we would have a deep heart felt understanding that mere words cannot express. That You would burn into each of our hearts the fact that we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us. Also Father I pray that You would continue to soften the hearts of those who do not yet know You and Your Son Jesus. That we might gain more of them for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ glorious and mighty name I pray.
