Being Justified Before God

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you Justified before God?
Nothing, absolutely nothing that you can do yourself will justify you in the sight of God. No works of the “Law”, no being “goody two shoes”, not even caring for the poor and homeless can justify you before God. Not depriving yourself and living poor and destitute, not inflicting self pain and suffering, nothing. Not strapping a heavy wooden cross to your back and traveling around the country side, NOTHING you can do justifies you. You can keep every one of the Ten Commandments, “the Law”, all your life and still not be justified in the eyes of God. There is only one thing that justifies you before God and that is your faith in believing what Jesus Christ has already done for you through His death, burial, and resurrection and making Him the Lord of your life! This being done, Jesus will then stand before the Father on our behalf and proclaim, “Father, Pastor Duane, he’s one of mine!” So that brings up the next question, are you one of the just, are you one of Jesus’ that He will declare before the Father as His? Have you made Jesus the Lord of your life? Do you live by faith or by the ‘works’ of the “Law”, the works of the flesh, and the works of the religious ones (Pharisees and Sadducees were religious ones, they were not the just)? The Bible says: “The just shall live by faith!”
Will Jesus declare you as His before the Father?

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, I know that I was not worthy for You to justify. But You loved me so much that You gave Your very best to pay for my sin. You sent Your mercy and Your grace through Your Son Jesus, when You sent Him to take my place, there on the cross. You sent Him to bear my punishment, my sickness, my disease, and my poverty. All these are results of the curse I was under because of the “Law”. I didn’t deserve your grace, I didn’t even ask for it. But You did it anyway and all You asked was I believe in Your Son, believe that He died, was buried, and was raised on the 3rd day for me. You only asked that I believe that You exist and that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek after You. Father, I love You and I give You all praise and glory forever. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.

Righteousness

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSES…
Righteousness was for us also! Righteousness – “Right Standing before God!”
Paul is talking here about Abraham, the father of faith. Because Abraham believed that what God promised him He was fully able to do (faith in God), God accounted his faith unto him for righteousness. But the Word of God goes on to say that not only was righteousness accounted unto Abraham for his faith but also to those of us who believe on Him who raised Jesus from the dead. It’s so simple people. All we have to do to be righteous (to be Just) in the sight of God is believe in Jesus and God who raised Him from the dead. To come to Him in Faith, we don’t have to do anything else to obtain righteousness, our righteousness is from and through Christ Jesus. We don’t have to get our act together or clean up our lives first, we can’t without His help anyway. Jesus has washed us with His Blood and made us clean (righteous) before God. It is soooo easy, yet religion has made it so hard to grasp. All we have to do is Believe – no proof needed!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, thank You for making it soooo easy for me! So easy that many will not believe it is so easy. Father, thank You for providing for my righteousness through Your Son and my Lord Jesus. Thanks Abba Daddy for giving me that which I was not worthy to receive. That which I could in no way earn You lovingly gave to me as a free gift, if only I would receive it. Father, I exercise my faith and I accept that which I was not worthy to have, but that which You have freely given. Thank You Lord for sending me Jesus to show me the way, the only way! In Jesus’ name I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…

Did you now that God loves ALL people, everywhere in the World? That’s right I said ALL because that’s what the Bible says!

It is wrong to think God’s love for the nations began only with Jesus and the Great Commission. Remember Jonah’s preaching to save Israel’s great enemy, Nineveh and the whale? Remember the precious story of Ruth? How about how He used the harlot Rahab to protect his people. God loves all people (not just Christians!) and wants them to come to share in the truth of the knowledge in Him and in His grace. As Christians, we are His salt and His light. We are here as His great workmen, to touch all the peoples of the world and to share with them The Truth that will set them free. We are to convince them to listen to and believe The Truth of His Word and to repent and turn from their worldly ways unto the Father through Jesus who gave His life for them.

MY PRAYER…
Most Holy God, I give You praise and glory and thanks giving forever. Father I thank You for Your covenant promises made through Jesus for us. Holy Father, stir within our hearts a greater passion to share Your love with the world. May our lives, our money, and our concerns be used to do more of Your work throughout the world. Father I thank You for Your protection and care of all those who share the Gospel of Jesus especially in a culture other than their own. I know that You are not a man that should lie and that what You have promised in Your Word must be true. In Jesus mighty name, I give You praise and glory forever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE
God is not your problem But, He is your answer!
A wise man understands the ways of the Lord and His wisdom is the wise man’s wisdom, a prudent man knows the ways of the Lord for the Lord is His Shepherd. Why would a wise man want to understand or know the ways of the Lord? Because the JUST shall walk in the ways of the Lord (the just shall live by faith!), not just talk it, but live it every day. Are you one of the ‘Just’? Have you been ‘Justified by Jesus? Then I would think you would want to know of the Lord’s Ways and have His wisdom in ALL that you do. How does one understand and know the ways of the Lord? Through His Word, through a personal daily relationship with the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ. If you want to understand and know God’s will for your life, you have to read, study, and meditate His Word for yourself daily. You have to have a personal, daily, no a constant relationship with Jesus! You have to be filled with His Holy Spirit (the Teacher, the Guide, the Counselor, The Helper) so that He can give you revelation of the Word of God. You have to pray and fast regularly and listen to the voice of God when He speaks to you. You can’t rely on someone else’s reading, speaking, or experiences, you must get in there and find out for yourself, truly experience God, and let God speak to you through His Word and His Spirit. God can’t do anything for you until you release your faith for Him to work through you. God is not your problem like many people think, He is your answer!

MY PRAYER…
Father I pray that You open the eyes of my understanding and flood my heart(my spirit man) with the hope of Your calling for me, that You reveal to me what is that glorious inheritance You have given to Your saints and heirs of salvation. That You reveal in my heart the exceeding greatness of Your power given to us who believe according to the working of Your mighty power. That power that You demonstrated in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your own right hand in the heavenly places. Far above all the principalities, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named (this includes all disease and sickness and poverty and bondages), not only in this world, but also in the world which is to come. Thank You Father, that I have dominion, through Jesus, NOW IN THIS WORLD over all disease and sickness and poverty and bondages. How You, Father, have put all things under Jesus’ feet and have made Him the head over the Church, which is His body, yes WE are HIS body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Father for this reason, seeing the greatness of this plan of Yours, by which I am built together with in Christ, I bow my knees before You and give You all praise and all glory forever and ever.

Tithing lays up treasures in Heaven!

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Where do you hide your heart? What we most value is where we will find our heart. So it is an important question. You see, we can treasure money & riches, control, security, relationships, cars, toys, tools, just about anything. When we do that, they begin to control us. When we do that we become just like the world and we become carnal or natural, worldly Christians at best. God wants us to be Spiritual Christians and seek those things that are from Him for our lives. We are reminded here that it is only by turning loose of the things of this world that most of us keep as our treasures, that we will find what is truly treasure. We must sow into the Kingdom of God to store up treasure for the future. God’s wants us to tithe (Tithe: to give a tenth of your first fruits. Take your income amount and move the decimal point 1 space to the left. The result is your tithe!) to Him. You do tithe right? If you do not then it’s because you treasure your earthly money more than you treasure God. There are some of you out there that are NOT tithing and know that you should be! When you know what is right and don’t do it that’s SIN. You know who you are and so does God! Don’t test God! That is NOT a good thing to do.
God wants your heart that’s why He says to lay up treasures in heaven, where He is. God wants you to hide your heart in His Secret Place.
By the way, an offering now and then is NOT tithing!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, I pray that out of the riches of Your grace, You help me find my treasure in You instead of the things of this world. Today, I want to offer You all that I am and have, for Your glory. Father, supernaturally by Your Spirit enable me to be all that You have said I am. Father, show me the way into your Secret Place that I may hide my heart in You.
Through Jesus my example, Lord, and Savior I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you displaying the fruits of Christian faith? Or are you “Disqualified?” Disqualified = Living the way of the worldly, not born again having Jesus Christ as your Lord first and then as your Savior!
When a person says they are a Christian what they are really saying is that they are in “The Faith” of Christianity. Christianity is “The Faith”. They are saying that Jesus lives and flourishes inside them. They are saying they are Christ like in all they do and say. They are saying they have a day to day personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, that they really know Him! In fact you cannot be a Christian, saved and going to heaven unless you are in faith and abiding in Christ and His Word. For it is by grace through “faith”, that you are saved (Eph 2:8). You are not a Christian just because you go to a church on Sunday morning, or once a week and have a Bible on your bookshelf or coffee table. No, you are a Christian only because you have Christ living inside you, because He is your Lord, because you are fellowshipping with Him daily, and because you are living a Christ like lifestyle everyday. Knowing about Christ Jesus will not make you a Christian, you must personally know Jesus. Christian means Christ-like or Christ-inside! Are you displaying the fruits of that faith? We should be, if we are calling ourselves Christians. Or are you an actor (hypocrite), pretending to be holy and a Christian, going to church on Sunday, but then living like the rest of world the rest of the week. The fruits of your life will show us and the world, and God which you are. You can not hide your fruit, especially from God.
Are you displaying the fruits of Christian faith?

MY PRAYER…
Father, I just want to thank You that You have sent Christ to me as an example of how to live the live of faith. You said in Your Word that the “just” shall live by faith. So if I am just (in right standing with You because of what Jesus did for me) then I need to be living by the faith. Father, let Your Holy Spirit give me the want to, the strength to, and the power I need to live by faith in You and what Jesus has already done for me. Strengthen me day by day as I walk with You. Lead and guide me into the “Christ-like” life style everyday. Show me those things that need to change and be removed from my life. Draw me ever closer to Your side. Help me to become God inside minded and to walk and talk as Christ did always. In Jesus’ name I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Have you receive The Helper?
Oh, how Jesus loves to do good things for us. For those who believe in Him. Notice that He was talking to believers and not the unsaved, those who love Him and have made Him their Lord. He said He would send another Helper. A Helper, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, The Paraclete (Advocate), The Counselor, The Guide, The Teacher, The Holy Spirit. Notice He said you had to receive the Helper, The Holy Spirit! Jesus made sure we would not be alone. He had the Father send us back not just a good gift, but the best gift! A gift that the world, those who have not made Jesus their Lord, can not receive, know, use, or see. But we have Him, He dwells in us so that we are not alone (orphans). He is the promise that Jesus will return for us in that “Great Day”! Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Many have not. You must receive Him by Faith, and that is subsequent to the “new birth”. He was Jesus’ promise to all who believe!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Lord Jesus, Thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit. Thank You for not leaving us alone, but instead giving us a Helper, a Comforter, a guide, and a Counselor. Thank You Lord for sending the Spirit of Truth to lead and to guide us until You return for us. Thank You Father that on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was given for all those who would believe and those who receive will be baptized in fire and with power.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Does God’s light shine forth from you?
We must let His light shine forth from us, not our light we have none of our own, but the light of the Lord that is within us. Oh, how Jesus loves to give good gifts to us. He has given us a Helper, a Teacher, a Guide, a Comforter, and a Counselor to help us cause that light to shine forth. Call on the Helper, the Teacher, the Spirit of Truth, and find out what is really acceptable to the Lord. Call on the Helper to strengthen you with His power and might so that you can stand against the works of darkness and expose them, not fellowship with them. You can’t be a beacon if His light don’t shine through you! In order for His light to shine through you must first make Him your Lord!

All Mighty Father, Thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit through Jesus. Thank You for not leaving us alone, but instead giving us a Helper, a Comforter, a Guide, a Teacher, and a Counselor. Help us Lord to be strong and strengthen us Lord through Your might by the Holy Spirit that is within us. Lead and guide us Holy Spirit into all truth that we may be filled with all the fullness of God in our inner man. That we may bring glory to the Church and to Christ Jesus for ever and ever. In the mighty name of Jesus, Lord I ask and pray and I give You all glory and honor forever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Nothing is impossible with God!
Right now you and I are standing face to face with situations in our nation that need to be changed. Some of those situations look totally impossible. But they’re not. Because this country belongs to God. He’s the One who brought the United States of America into existence. He had a special purpose for it. He needed a country where the gospel could be preached freely and not suppressed. He will put down those who come against His Chosen ones!
Nothing is impossible with God!
It was God Himself who stirred the heart and mind of Christopher Columbus and planted within him the dream of charting a new course to the West. Columbus said so in his own journals: “It was the Lord who put into my mind (I could feel His hand upon me) the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies. All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me. There’s no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit because He comforted me with rays of marvelous inspiration from the Holy Scriptures….”
Nothing is impossible with God!
Who brought Christopher Columbus to America? God brought him. This is God’s nation. He raised it up, and it’s not going to be taken away from Him. He had America formed for a reason and that reason is His plan for us not some man’s.
The next time you’re tempted to look at situations in this country as impossible, remember who it belongs to. Remember that we are to humble ourselves and pray for our country. Then you can discover America just like Christopher Columbus did—by faith. Did you know that the USA was right in the middle of JERUSALEM?
Nothing is impossible with God!

Glorious God and Almighty Father, I look forward to the day when people from every language, tribe, and nation, join with the angels and the 24 elders around Your throne and worship You in joyous praise. I am anxious to see the mansion you have for me in Your House. Father, help us to become one with our brothers and sisters around the world, that we might worship You as Your church, not many different churches. Lord, help us to reach our neighbors and share You with them. Lord, prepare us, prepare our hearts, for that glorious day when You come to take us home to be with You forever! Lord, we give You ALL praise and ALL glory forever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God has not given us a spirit of fear!
What is there to fear about man, he can only kill your mortal man he cannot kill your spirit. What is there to fear if God sent His Son to die to redeem us? What is there to fear if we know we cannot be separated from the love God has for us in Christ Jesus? What is there to fear if God is on our side? What is there to fear except ourselves? Since we are His children, rather than run from Him in fear, we need to bow before Him in reverential awe and thanksgiving, knowing that He who hears our prayers is also He who loves us and casts away our fears. We need to run to God not from Him. We need to run into His protection always. His protection is awesome and always available. You need to read and meditate on Psalm 91. You need to make this your place of refuge in life’s storms.
Fear is the opposite of ‘Faith’, you cannot be in faith toward God if you are in fear.

MY PRAYER…
Loving Father, I thank You that I can revere and worship You without fearing Your wrath. Thank You that I can revere Your word and yet not be terrified by my inadequacies and failings. Thank you that I know from Your Word that when I mess up I can run to You and ask for and receive forgiveness. May Your love in me produce a closer likeness to Your holiness, righteousness, justice, and mercy than all the laws, threats, and judges in this world combined.
Through Jesus, who ransomed me from sin, I pray.
